I am committed to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality. All information shared during out conversations this weekend will be kept strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to anyone without your explicit consent, except in circumstances required by law, such as imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, or as mandated by court order. Your privacy and trust are of utmost importance, and I will take every measure to protect your personal information.

During workshops and group work it is important to prioritize confidentially amongst group members. What is said in these spaces should be maintained with greatest respect to confidentiality.

Tissue Issue - please allow participants to experience their emotions without interference.

A few things before we get started

Exits

There are two exits in the home, the front door and back door, each room has operable windows. The ranch has two exits that face the road, the gate code is 8587, feel free to leave at anytime but please ensure the gate closes securely.

* If the gate is not secured and an animal gets loose, a fine could be issued.

Bathrooms

There is one shared bathroom in the hallway, please respect the privacy of the main bedroom occupant and do not use that bathroom.

Please remember to take your personal items with you after using the restroom, as this is a share space. Thank you for your consideration!

Hydration

Its incredibly important to hydrate. You’ll find two water stations, be sure to fill up your water bottle before leaving the house for any exploration.

The rangers will be equipped with some water but this is for emergencies and for those who forget their water bottle.

Only retreat hosts will operate ATVs

Things to look out for

Check your shoes before putting them on, stay on the beaten path, and always look before sitting and stepping.

Transparency

Firearms - I have a 9mm pistol that I would prefer to carry with me when we are out and about on the ranch. If that makes anyone uncomfortable, please let me know and I can leave it behind locked in the safe. I am very comfortable with my firearm. I have never seen any animal around the ranch that would be dangerous but I do like to carry it just in case we come across a cougar or something.

Cameras - There are game cameras all around the ranch in various places. There is also one camera inside of the house next to the fireplace. The only time this can be turned off by the host, is during group work in the living room.

The ranch is basically a square, if you happen to loose track of the group or if you take a walk and take a wrong turn, walk till you find a fence, then follow it until you can see the house.

Talk a walk outside if you’d like especially if you feel comfortable outdoors.

It is of the upmost importance to keep all gates secured. Please feel free to come and go as you please, if you would like assistance with the gate just ask one of our hosts. When you secure the gate, give the lock a good tug to make sure its secured properly.

Quiet hours are yours to honor and embrace

Quiet hours are from 10pm - 6am

Taking time for silence restores the nervous system, helps sustain energy, and conditions our minds to be more adaptive and responsive.

The Windy S is on a water collection system, please be mindful of water usage.

e.g. turning the water off while brushing your teeth or showering for an hour vs. 20 minutes.
